Qusseir city tour

Marsa Alam – Marsa alam - egypt

Explore The Excursion

Quseir was known as the White Port. During the Ptolemaic era, Quseir was the terminus of the desert caravan route crossing Wadi Hammamat. Later, Sultan Selim fortified the city, and until the late 19th century, it was the departure point for pilgrims traveling to Mecca. Today, it is a narrow town, its streets lined with colorful markets with a distinct Bedouin feel. Shopping in Quseir is infinitely more interesting, with a wide variety and competition. Quseir boasts extensive markets for souvenirs, traditional clothing, papyrus, pottery, alabaster statues, and leather goods (watches, bags, clothes, etc.). Most souvenir shops are located on Al-Gomhoria Street, which runs past the Ottoman Citadel and through the city center. > Pick-up from your hotel in Marsa Alam We will pick you up from your hotel in Marsa Alam in a private air-conditioned vehicle to take you to Quseir to discover the city’s ancient history. > City Tour See the narrow streets with the colorful bazaar, which has a distinct Bedouin flavor.
